India bags 6 medals in the 45'th International Mathematics  Olympiad held at Greece, which took place during July 6-18 2004, in Athens. Teams up to six students participated from 85 countries.

India bags 5 medals in the 35'th International Physics Olympiad held at Korea, which took place during July 15-23 2004, in Pohang.

IChO 2004

India bags 4 medals in the 36'th International Chemistry Olympiad held at Germany, which took place during July 18-27 2004, in Kiel.  It has happened for the first time that a female candidate from India has bagged gold medal in Olympiads.  India's world ranking was 11.
